about Melissa Quinn Bartlett
Melissa Quinn Bartlett grew up on Long Island N.Y. After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware she returned to New York. She lived in Manhattan working for a large Banking/Investment firm as a Securities Trader. While in New York Melissa fell in love with Architecture. She was exposed to everything from Sleek Urban Contemporary, to the Craftsman, Shingle, and Neo Colonial styles of the Hamptons and Montauk. She found merit and passion in them all.
After years in the financial industry she went back to school (The Art Institute of Atlanta) to follow her passion. Melissa became an ASID Certified Interior Designer in 1999. She teamed with a high end custom builder in Atlanta. For 5 years she worked at Benecki Fine Homes on projects with architects like McAlpine Tankersley, Keith Summerhour, Peter Block, Harrison Design and others.
In 2004 while working on a Bobby McAlpine project in Rosemary Beach she met and fell in love with Britton. It was truly a marriage of ‘beautiful design.’
“I enjoy helping a client plan the spaces of their dreams. It is incredibly rewarding to see a project from start to finish. Many designers don’t have the joy of working with a builder. The ability to be involved in the building project from the beginning streamlines the process significantly. Canvas is a team who is dedicated to the client experience and enjoys the stewardship responsibility of their design.”
